Frying Pans

All to your taste

The frying pan is certainly versatile! You can use it to prepare sauces, paella, risotto, and other dishes. Like the wok, it's ideal for quick cooking. But this pan can also be used for simmering dishes, for which a lid is important. In this way, the pan is tightly sealed and heat is not lost. The ingredients heat up evenly, and you can enjoy the final dish to the full. The high sides of a frying pan have the advantage of preventing splashes and spills.

What is a frying pan used for?

A frying pan is used to fry meat, fish or poultry. This means briefly heating the ingredients to a high temperature. This cooking technique generally requires little oil, which makes it ideal if you want to eat less fat! When you fry your steak, for example, you can very easily turn the meat juices into a delicious sauce accompanied by a little beer or wine.

What's the difference between a frying pan and a pan?

You can choose a frying pan with or without a lid. There are also frying pans with one or two handles. Some brands even offer a combination of the two. The big difference with a simple pan is that the rim of the frying pan is higher and straighter, which also makes it ideal for sauces. However, in many cases, both terms are used to designate the same type of product.

Cookinglife frying pans are available in different sizes. So there's a pan to suit every occasion. Cooking for a large group or a small group of friends is possible. Find out which frying pan is right for you and your needs!

Induction frying pans

These days, an induction frying pan is a must in our range. The advantage of this cooking method is that the pan heats up quickly and your dish is cooked more evenly. You can also opt for a lower temperature for simmering meat. With an induction frying pan, you can prepare your food sustainably. Are you curious? 2. Le Creuset Provencal Casserole Les Forgées TNS: This frying pan features a non-stick coating four times more resistant than most pans. 3. De Buyer Dishpan Mineral B: This frying pan has a high carbon content, which contributes to its durability and ability to last a lifetime if properly cared for. Before first use, the pan must be burned to develop a natural non-stick coating. 4. Atlantis Frying pan by Demeyere: This frying pan has been specially designed for evenly frying meat, poultry, vegetables, and shellfish after moistening them, and leaving them to cook covered. 5. GreenPan Frying pan - with lid - Barcelona Pro - Black: this pan is made of aluminum and can therefore be used on all heat sources. The frying pan is oven and dishwasher safe, but to prolong its life, we recommend washing it by hand. It has an elegant appearance thanks to its glass lid and stainless steel handle. The Greenpan brand is known for its eco-friendly production process, which emits 60% less CO₂ than the production of traditional non-stick coatings.

How to effectively clean a frying pan?

Most frying pans can be washed in the dishwasher, but we recommend washing them by hand to extend their life. It's best not to use sponges or hard brushes. If food residues have become embedded in the pan, soak it in water for a while. If this residue proves tough, you can put the pan on the heat with a little salt in the water and leave it to boil for 15 minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat and leave it to soak for a further half-hour, after which you can easily remove any food residues without damaging the pan.
