Product description Robert Herder Potato Peeling Knife Steel - 6 cm Blade
The blade of Robert Herder, known as the crooked mill knife, is perfect for peeling both potatoes and fruit. With a blade length of 6cm and a handle made of beech wood, this knife meets all requirements.
The knives from Robert Herder have long been manufactured by hand in Solingen, Germany. Almost every step in the production process is carried out (in part) by hand. The blade is sharpened by hand and the handle receives a manual sanding. These knives are made of high-quality carbon steel (carbon steel) and are sharpened using the special "dunschliff" method. This makes them thinner and easier to cut. The use of carbon steel makes these knives sharp longer, but more susceptible to rusting. To prevent this, the knives should be cleaned and dried by hand immediately after use.
