The bottom of the glass is made of tempered glass, allowing it to be poured directly from the kettle or Quooker without the risk of breakage or cracks in the glass. The glasses are microwave and dishwasher safe, and even have 3 slots in the bottom to prevent water from pooling when emptying the dishwasher.
