Product description Alessi Table knife Nuovo Milano - 5180/3M - Monoblock - by Ettore Sottsass
Nuovo Milano is the name of the cutlery series that the famous architect and designer Ettore Sottsass created for Alessi in 1987. The powerful design has a timeless appeal. Nuovo Milano is made of 18/10 polished stainless steel. The knives (table and dessert knife) from this series are also available in an economical monoblock version. A monoblock knife is made of one piece of knife steel. With the traditional hollow handle knife, the handle and blade are joined later. The advantages of the hollow handle knife are that the blade is sharper and the handle is convex. As a result, the knife is comfortable in the hand and has a good grip. Nuovo Milano can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
